About

I have always been fascinated by how people (and myself) change over time and how they cannot always predict or remember how they have or will change.

As a psychology researcher I've studied memory, the psychology of future casting, and intertemporal decision making, and have used that science to construct better experiences for Disney, Nike, and many others.

In this EP, I sought to explore our relationship with time because lyrics are uniquely powerful devices to capture ideas and because our relationships with songs provide a unique window for "mental time travel."

In my wider Lyrics About work, I use original lyrics and the vehicle of AI music to capture and share ideas, showcase the powerful creative process of writing lyrics about ideas, and create drafts of artworks to be later polished in solo and collaborative projects.
